- Never say thank you
- Never praise anyone’s work or character
- Never genuinely ask how they’re doing
- Never linger and shoot the breeze from time to time
- Never recognize their accomplishments in front of others
- Always criticize their work
- Use harsh language
- Gossip about them behind their backs
- Micro-manage
- Never trust them
- Never give them opportunities to grow or be challenged
- Never give them grace or show kindness
